It was quilted and trimmed before I saw it. I considered ripping out all the quilting, taking the top apart and fixing it. I'm kind of bummed that I messed this great pattern up ~ but I don't think it's in me to tear it apart and start over. My husband couldn't see it - but I'm sure you do!

My completed embroidery project, simply backed and bound.
Back to the big mistake - I'd love to know - would you take it apart?
